Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology Visit

GOtech was honored by the visit from Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology: Dr. Yasuhiro Yamada: Director, Research and Development Center for Ocean Drilling Science and Dr. Kyaw Moe: Deputy Director, Principal Research Scientist from Research and Development (R&D) Center for Ocean Drilling Science (ODS), leaded the delegation to Saudi ARABIA, visiting King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and Jointly with GOtech’s General Manager; Mr. Mohammed Arakzeh visited Saudi ARAMCO’s Advanced Research Center (ARC) of Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Departments,  and had a general discussion about Drilling Planning and Technology Developments for Extreme Environments.

Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) has the main objective to contribute to the advancement of academic research in addition to the improvement of marine science and technology by proceeding the fundamental research and development on marine, and the cooperative activities on the academic research related to the Ocean for the benefit of the peace and human welfare.

Center for Ocean Drilling Science(ODS) objective to promote International Ocean Discovery Program which is led by Japan. Their believed as stated by Dr. Yamanda is: “creating new drilling science in exploring the Earth’s interior using advanced drilling technology to clarify the unified scope of the ocean, earth and life system”
